I just love broccoli cheese soup. It has to be one of the few times I eat somewhat healthy. I made this last weekend for my lady friend that just had oral surgery. She couldn’t eat anything so I thought I would be super awesome and whisk this up for her. She ate the whole batch in one day. She now owes me awesome naked cuddle time. You should make this for your special cuddle partner as this is a panty/boxer dropper.
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, plus 2 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
1 cup yellow onions
1/2 cup thinly shredded carrot
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 cups chicken stock or canned
1 (16-ounce) package frozen broccoli, thawed and separated
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 1/4 cups shredded medium Cheddar
Melt the 3 tablespoons butter over medium-high heat. Add the onions, carrot, salt, pepper, and nutmeg and cook, stirring, until soft, 5 minutes. Add the garlic and thyme cook, stirring, until fragrant, for 20 seconds. Add the flour and cook, stirring until the mixture is well blended and smells fragrant, 2 minutes. Slowly add the chicken stock, whisking constantly, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes. Add the broccoli and cook, stirring, until tender, for 10 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heat and puree with a hand-held immersion blender.
Add the cream and bring to bare simmer to heat through. Add the cheese and cook over low heat, stirring, until melted. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons cold butter, stirring to blend.

Have you ever imagined or perhaps dreamed you were in Super Mario Bros. for the original NES? Well, now you can. Check out this first person perspective of Super Mario Bros.
I love the new MCR album. The punk roots of many of the songs bring back youthful memories of rocking out with my sister not knowing what in the hell I was doing, but hey it was fun and this is the longest sentenance in the world or maybe not but it seems pretty damn close.
Arctic Monkeys are out with the music video to their new single ‘Brick By Brick’, off the Sheffield, England indie rock band’s upcoming fourth studio album on Domino/Warner. I just love this band. They make me dance in my car seat while flying down the freeway.
Watch as some guy upgrades his computer through every version of Windows, from 1985′s Windows 1.0 to the present-day Windows 7.
I must say I was behind the computer times when I finally bought one. I had Windows 95 on what seemed like 30 disks. Everytime I fucked up the system, I would wipe it and start over. I never tried to fix anything. Man, how times change.
I think I will have to download this today. I’ve never been a part of a 365 project because I’m just not that cool. I really miss photography on the gulf coast.
There is nothing like being a poor college student living in the dorms, just trying to get by. You have no money for beer, hookers, and blow so when you are hungry the simple and cheap must do. If you follow the link below, just maybe this will keep you from taking a job as a stripper trying to pay your way through college.
They boast that you can “make at your own risk” the following delectable delights in your coffee maker:

I can’t wait to make this drink while waiting outside the high school by myself in my new rad bitch van. This drink, the Biebertini, will score me mass amounts of cuddle time.
Nate Wiger, a mixologist at hotspot Drai’s in Hollywood, has whipped up a virgin beverage inspired by the 16-year-old pop star. Now you can try mixing up a batch on Sunday when the double-nominee will go head-to-head with the competition at the 50th annual Grammy Awards. Bieber is up for best new artist and best pop vocal album.
Curious about the Biebertini? Make the recipe yourself:
• ½ cup coconut cream
• ½ cup pineapple cream
• ¼ cup light cream
• 1 banana
• 20 strawberries
Blend ingredients with ice. Pour into four martini glasses. Top with whipped cream, Pop Rocks and a Blow Pop garnish.
Are you a Bieber fan who’s over 21? Make the drink alcoholic by adding 1.5 oz. of Three Olives Bubble vodka to each glass.
This is exciting like watching Gina Turner perform at the Julep Room.

I love these guys. I booked them at Thunders Tavern probably 2 years ago on a sad and lonely Wednesday night. Hardly anyone showed to the show and I lost my ass but hey, it was fun rocking out. I truly hope these guys hit the top of the charts soon.

There is nothing more exciting than finding out that you can now get toothpaste in bacon flavor. You no longer need to get up early for breakfast because you can get your pork fix while you get ready for work. This is truly a genius product. Soon we will have bacon flavored condoms for the ladies that love a little pork in them.
Panic! At The Disco my how I have secretly danced in my car while jamming out to your tunes. It brings back a memory to a few weeks after Hurricane Katrina hit the gulf coast that I was rocking out with my wiener out to A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out. One day I was getting onto I-110 after waiting an hour to take the exit and some guy in a wimpy truck told me to turn off my music because I was a fag. Well, you don’t yell shit like that to someone that owns a bigger truck than you do. Once we made it past the bridge, I just casually ran him off the road. Sorry, I didn’t see you in the rearview mirror.
Panic! At The Disco are out with the music video to their new single ‘Ballad of Mona Lisa’, off the Las Vegas, Nevada rock band’s third studio album ‘Vices & Virtues’, out March 29th on Decaydance Records.

It makes me a really sad panda that I didn’t get to catch her show here in Colorado Springs. I’m told they killed it at the Triple Nickel. One day I will see her, even if I have to stand outside her window with a boombox over my head begging for a private show.
